Cooking Classes

Expand the Menu is our social campaign that encourages cooks to contribute to the menus of African and Black food, and spark enthusiasm for these diverse cuisines.

Through a series of hands-on cooking classes, we spotlight chefs who are at the forefront of new school African and Black cuisine, trailblazing the way for future foodies.

Jikoni Recipe Archive is a non-profit organization that celebrates the rich diversity of African and Black cuisine by documenting the legacy of cooks while amplifying their vibrant food cultures.

Donations are gratefully accepted. This is our annual public fundraiser to support our projects, and tickets are free, always.
